Our Third Reunion in Quantico, Virginia in 2010
The location chosen for our third year was Quantico, Virginia. The move was prompted to enable the attendees in the various parts of the country to shorten their travel distances. The idea being that we would continue yearly with the reunions, but rotate the locations, east coast, west coast and central. Doc Sonderman organized that reunion almost single handedly. The group was treated like royalty by the Marine Corps while attending the reunion.
A group tour was also arranged for a visit to the Vietnam Wall, Arlington Cemetery, the Marine Corps Monument and evening parade at 8th & I in Washington DC.
