Bombs Away on Arizona Territory
Air support came from many forms of aircraft to conduct offensive and defensive tactical air operations including close air support, interdiction, reconnaissance, maintenance of air superiority, air transport, search and rescue, and other supplemental air support as required.
We combat Marines were most appreciative of all the air support we received when we were on the ground facing and fighting the enemy. Air support came from a lot of different sources. Only some of them have been identified and placed here.
