It was a beautiful sunny warm day to be in the memorial garden at Camp Pendelton along with my wife, Rita, my son Brent, my daughter-in-law Hayley, and my three granddaughters Brooke, Marcy, and Clover to give honor and respect to our fallen men who gave their lives for freedom and liberty. It was a very tender and moving moment for me, looking up the names of the guys I served with that were killed in action in Vietnam, and seeing their names carved on the monuments. Thank all of you for your sacrifice. I will never take the cost of freedom for granted. Thank you to my immediate family for being there to support me. Thanks also to many of my Vietnam Marine reunion families who were there on this day also.
