Please join us at our Hotel 2/5 2019 Reunion in San Antonio, Texas, November 7-10th. I am excited to invite you to this beautiful city where we will be celebrating together our 13th annual reunion as brothers, family, and friends of Hotel 2/5.
In San Antonio, you can explore and experience the city’s historical significance and rich colonial heritage. The Alamo, an 18th-century Spanish mission, preserved as a museum, marks an infamous 1836 battle for Texan independence from Mexico and is only two city blocks away from our hotel.
You will be able to stroll, shop and dine along the winding path of the River Walk for a uniquely San Antonio City experience with its miles-long River Walk, a landmark pedestrian promenade lined with cafes, shops and entertainment.
We are providing a group lunch meal at the LoneStar Café for Friday lunch. Then, you will be turned loose to explore the city on your own or in smaller groups. Friday night is your night to go out on the town. Take the evening by storm and explore the nightlife offerings in San Antonio. You might be surprised at what you find. From classic cocktail bars, to neighborhood pubs, to urban wineries, and too many local entertainment venues to list, the nightlife scene is varied, festive and fun. Truly, they have something for everyone.
I will be providing many visitor information brochures, magazines, and discount coupons in your reunion packet when you arrive, so no need to stock up ahead on those. I’ll explain what to do, where to go, and what to see in San Antonio during our formal meeting Thursday evening. Bring your walking shoes.
Saturday evening will be our semi-formal dinner together at the hotel. John Banes will be our guest speaker. We will be having our auction at the end of the dinner so bring your items to donate to the fundraiser. Oh, bring your cash and checkbooks too!
P.S. Yes, bring your cowboy hats and boots along to this reunion. No spurs, please!
