John Chambers passed away peacefully at home early Thursday, December 29, 2022, in Williamsburg, Virginia after being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia just two months prior.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Kathy, children, and grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at Williamsburg Presbyterian Church on January 7th, 2023. The funeral begins at 11:00 AM. A visitation reception will be held in the church’s Fellowship Hall beginning at 12:00 noon. The address is 215 Richmond Road, Williamsburg VA 23185. Church Number: 757-229-4235.
The burial service begins at 11:00 on February 16th in Arlington National Cemetery. If someone wants to attend, we are meeting at the administration building. We can not enter the gate before 10:00 AM. They recommended being there at least 45 minutes before the 11:00 service. Once the procession starts, no one can come late, as I am sure everyone knows. We follow the hearse to the burial site, and the Marines take over there. We trust many of us can attend.
